The molten aluminum for gravity casting is generally manually poured into the gate, and the cavity(such as gravity wheel mold) is filled by the weight of the molten metal, exhausted, cooled, and the mold is opened until the sample is obtained.

 

The only force which fills the mold cavity is gravity; The fill can be controlled by tilting the die. The gravity die casting process produces what is known as castings, where solidification is promoted in a specific portion of the metal casting mold.

 

Gravity casting and die casting manufacturing processes are the most commonly used in metal casting and are also available at reasonable prices.
